Question
I am going to be helping a friend construct a waterfall. He has a 1/2 acre pond that has a hill on one side.  The idea is to line the hill and then use the large rocks that are already in that area to make the waterfall look. We will use a fairly large pump to have a nice size waterfall.
since neither of us have ever done this before what are some of the things we should know or check before beginning? Also what type of liner and pump do you recommend?

Thanks for your time,

Frank

Answer
Your liner should be the black stuff they sell for ponds available at pond supply centers Sounds like a great project
just make sure the hose you use is good quality. Best of luck, should you run into problems don't hesitate to ask

Experience

email clients on askme.com and friends and neighbors have taken my advice and gotten ideas from them. I started a pond with little or no knowledge and started asking at pond stores and was fortunate to find someone who was not only in the business but had several ponds of his own and could relate with first hand experience.
