Pontiac - Stalling

Question
2001 Pontiac Montana....42,000 miles.  We purchased this van used from a dealer over a year ago.  Within weeks of purchase, we have been experiencing intermittent stalling problems.  It has been to the service dept.  numerous times and they cannot find the problem.  The van will run fine for weeks then all of a sudden when you come to a stop, it dies.  Most of the time it will start right away.  It also has stalled when slowing to turn a corner.  On  a few occasions, it now does not want to start after a stalling incident.   Our dealer's service dept. did find a water leak and corroded fuel pump/abs connector.  $750 dollars later, that did not stop the stalling. They said they checked the fuel pump...the van was not stalling at the time.  No service engine lights have ever appeared.

Stalling appears to happen after vehicle is warmed-up and coming to a stop or slowing to turn.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you

Answer
There are alot of things that could be causing your stalling problem so I'm not sure what to suggest. There are no common problems on your van for stalling. My first guess would be a binding fuel pump. Its just one of those things that the technician is going to have to have it stall while monitoring the fuel and ignition systems and see which one failed. Sorry.
