Pontiac Repair - Cruise Controll 99 Sunfire
Expert: Todd Puccio - 10/26/2009
Question I was at the junk yard this weekend and found a few sunfire's there, a few have cruise control, My car dose not have cruise control. My Question is Are all Sunfires set up for cruise control and all I have to do is replace the blinker switch with one that has cruise control and will it work?
Answer Hi Danny:
No they are not all set up for cruise the wire harnesses in the cars are different for cars with/without cruise so it's not as simple and plug and play. You can look into an after market cruise control unit for this car but I don nor recomend any kind of aftermarket electrical components be added to any cars but that is up to you wether or not you want o go that route.
