QUESTION: 1997 gtp.3800 supercharger.drivers side blows hotter than pass side.drivers side actuator makes a noise when moving.it will move back & forth adjusting.i believe what ever controls it is screwed up.this is adual control system.ive checked freon /actuators.temp reading constant for inside /outside temps does not flash.
Answer Most of the time the issues with these are the temp acatuators. the electric motors that run the temp door go bad. usually that's alla that go bad with the system in that car. If you change the acatuator make sure you pull out the fuse for the HVAC control head and let it sit for a minute or 2 then put the fuse back in to clear out the memory in the control head then cycle the head from from full cold to full hot on both sides.
