Pontiac Repair - Removing a Starter 1998 Pontiac Bonneville

Expert: Tim Hagan - 11/1/2009

Question
Can you please tell me and or direct me to a sight that has step by step instructions for the removal of the starter from a 1998 Pontiac Bonneville?, Diagrams may be helpful as well if you can.

Thank you in advance

Answer
if memory serves me right the starter is in the front of the engine, you will need to lower the cradle a bit in the front to access it and remove it, should be a battery wire and another solenoid wire to remove and two bolts, one might be under the cover for the flywheel
