Question
I have a 1997 Bonneville SSE. When traveling around 5-10 mph, the car has a wobble/wiggle( kind of a side to side movement). The steering wheel does not shake or bounce as if in need of an alignment. What is the cause ?

Answer
Hi Robie:

well it can be a ot of things. I would think possably a tire you may not feel it in the steering wheel if it's a tire or possably a CV joint in one of the front axles. how about when your turn the steering weehl on a a sharp turn does the front suspension make noise that would indicate a bad cv joint. Does it do it on a smooth road or ona a bumpy surface? it could be a bad strut. I don't think it's an engine issue you would fell it all the time not just at low speeds. good luck :)
