Question
The Shift lock release button was pushed in my vibe, now I have a ticking noise that sounds like it is coming from underneath the dash on the passengers side. Could you please let me know what this noise is and can it be stopped?

Answer
Hi Gelnn:

I don't think the 2 issues here are relared. the shift lock button has nothing to do with the right side of the dash.. the clicking noise you hear does it only do it with the blower motor on? possably from that? if it does it all the time you may have a heater case mode or tempature or mode motor "actautor" that is jammed up or is trying to move past it's normal range making the clicking noise. good luck :)
