Poodles - Shampoo for Red Toy Poodle

Question Hi Kim,
I adopted a 1-yr-old red toy poodle 3 months ago and would bring her to the grommer once a month. I recenly noticed that her hair color is getting dull and lighter.
I never bathe her myself and wonder if a good shampoo would help darkening her hair. I read your previous post and you suggested a shampoo called Bronzers, and glosser called problaim spray-on glosser and Silk Elements Glossing Polish, but I have a hard time finding them in-store or online. Where can I get those products? or do you have other suggestions that I can buy from local petstores or online?
I also changed her dry foor from Innova to Royal Canin (for poodle) recently because she didn't like Innova at all. I switched to Royal Canin becoz' my friend said it's good, but I've read some bad online reviews. Do you have any ideas about this brand? I just got a 30-lbs pack and would take a while for me to switch to another brand.
Answer Hello Cathy,
I get those products from Sally's Beauty Supply stores if you have one in your area. If not, you can visit them on-line at: http://www.sallybeauty.com/

http://www.sallybeauty.com/Spray-On-Glosser/SBS-631520,default,pd.html?cgid=Hair
http://www.sallybeauty.com/Conditioning-Shampoo/SBS-320028,default,pd.html?cgid=... (this is for red or brunette hair color, I like to dulute it about 1/2 with water at first to see how your dogs skin does)
As for the Royal Canin dog food, I have not heard any bad reviews on it before but have alot of people that use it for their dogs. It is specially formulated for different breeds and the Poodles brand is made to help their sensitive stomachs. Here is the Royal Canin/Poodle site: http://www.royalcanin.us/products/productdetail.aspx?ID=16
I hope this helps you some. If you have other questions for me, please feel free to ask.

Kim
