I have had 2 standard poodles. My black one was an excellent dog. She would let me or anyone do anything to her.She was great with parrots and other dogs and very smart,Now I own a cream one. I am so disappointed with her. She came with a pee pee problem thats not a medical issue. if someone goes to pet her a lot of occassions she will pee all over the floor. Shes afraid to be brushed and has separation anxiety if left in my house without supervision and will tear up everything. She gets in the trash. She is good with other animals, sweet, but I have not been able to break her of her defaults no matter what. Im thinking shes inbred. Shes over 2 yrs old and the most difficult animal I have ever had.

Expertise

I can answer general questions about Poodles. My specific area of expertise is Standard Poodles, but I will answer all questions about Poodles and dog related questions if I can. If I can't answer your question, I will be able to find information or someone who can.

I am a Dog Groomer and Dog Trainer, who has raised Standard Poodles for over 25 years. I can answer Housebreaking questions, Obedience/Training questions, Grooming questions, Breeding questions, and General Dog questions. I can also give SUGGESTIONS about general Health questions, but as I am not a Certified Vet, I cannot and will not diagnose illnesses. If you think that your dog is seriously ill, please contact your own Vet.
