Question
Was gifted a dismantled pool table which I will have professionally recovered, but noticed that the  plastic "covers", covering the joints, where the 6 rails join each pocket, are mostly broken.
The table is a BRONCO by The World of Billiards, Toronto, CANADA.
Please indicate what these pieces are called and where I can purchase them.

Thank you

Answer
Hi Michael,

You're looking for "rail caps and corner miters". You can just do a Google search for that term. Or look around at these sites:

http://www.muellers.com/
http://www.billiardsstore.com/
http://www.bestbilliards.com/
http://billiards.pooldawg.com/
http://www.classicbilliards.net/

I'm not precisely familiar with the table you mention so I can't suggest a particular product. You may want to call and talk to a sales rep at one of these sites.

Wish I could off you more help.

Cheers,

Bill

Expertise

I can answer questions related to shot-making, aiming, position play, strategies, practice, mental preparation and the psychology of the game. Also, rules as they vary from venue to venue and how to become a winning player. I have experience recovering and maintaining tables and will also answer questions related to cues and billiard equipment. However, I prefer not to make brand recommendations. I do not offer information identifying old tables and equipment or estimating their values.
