QUESTION: Hi, i have the same question to ask you...

Can you tell me how true is the article? does it mean we do not "see" the world?
-Is that true our visual experience is only just a illusion? isn't real? is my vision create in my mind?
-Do human still see with their eyes? does eyes matter in the sense of sight?
-The image I see now is form in my mind? or from my eye?

-Is the world really really not appear is what it seem to be...I want to believe, but I don't know what is the truth....I did fall sick..and I did watch TV...but I don't know am I really doing that....when I look at my parent, I will wonder if I am "looking" at them, or just looking that the image that is form in my brain?...I am getting confused...did I live in the reality? eating...sleeping....playing...studying....is it real?


There is other prove that tell there is something that appear the world is not what it look like
-The image on my LCD is simply the changing of colour of my pixel dot on my panel....if I saw a ball fly pass the LCD, it is just merely changing of dots colours, the ball only "appear" to be fly
-We do not touch each other, on a atomic level.. Atoms are never in physical contact with one another? no atoms of any one object can ever touch the atoms of another, again...."it appear to be"
-I see a splitting image of a object whenever I focus on it....I saw two image...but later on, the two image will "combine" into 1 image, is it because our brain combine our image into one? how do one know there is only one object? instead of two? why is this so? am I normal?


-Is it true humans do not see a direct representation of external reality, but a translation formed by their eyes and mind?
If without the brain, what does our eye perceive? only ray of light?

2.Does the external reality we see really exist? Is there really a apple? If we stay in a room, how do we know there is a "world" outside this room, if we don't see the world outside? Is there a world outside?

3.If we "see" a apple, what does a apple look like in the reality? Do you think human able to perceive the reality accurately? Does a apple look like a apple?

In other word, "Does human eye see the real thing?"

-Do you think human perceive the world similarly since we have the same 5 senses?



ANSWER: Hi Rambo,
Again i will resort to the image of the caterpillar that forgot how to walk when it tried to analyse how its 100 legs worked so harmoniuosly.

Sometimes, the deeper one goes, the more confused one becomes.

First of all, accept the external reality as distinct and separate from you.
It is NOT "all in your mind".
examples:-
1 - Your parents obviously existed before you did!
Proof of the fact that they are not a fiction of your mind.
2 - They have independent wills of their own, and have thought processes you may be unaware of. (you cannot read their mind, and cannot say for example what they will do fisrt thing tomorrow morning! Proof of their independent existence.
3 - They can go to another room and describe all the things there, in intimate detail, even those things you cannot consciously recollect as being there.

4 - Atomsd never touch each other, there is "no light" but total darkness at atomic level, as hardly any photons can get thru the electron fog (caused by its indeterminate nature (loactional indeterminate, as well as particle/wave indetermination, hizenburg and company etc). Yet you do see colors!

As I said last time, it all depends on ones "frame of reference" or "Pint of view".

To becalm oneself, while dealing with the mundane universe on day to day basis, enjoy and trust what the eyes show you.
One does not say on the street, "this oncoming car is imaginary, i will just ignore it" dos one? One will pay immediately for that folly.

However, when it comes to analysis, say forensic, scientefic etc, one "must know" that the eyes cannot be trusted, simply because our senses and perception are "limited" in their scope.

HUMANS DONT PERCIEVE REALITY ACCURATELY.

There is a continuum to even the color spectrum in daily life, that we DONT PERCIEVE!
The red apple, also radiates in the infra red! and may be ultraviolet too! If only you could see! Only, humans percieve the VIBGYOR part of the spectrum, that's neccessary and sufficient for their survival, as determined by 1000s of years of natural selection based evolution.

Nature is extremely ECONOMICAL and expends everything from the "design scope" of an organisation, that becomes vestigeal or that which was unrequired in the beginning itself.

Thus if one goes into space, for a prolonged duration, bones begin shedding "excess calcium" which "is not required" in low gravity conditions.
And thus does the body "begin to decompose" the moment clinical death has occured.
Nature is NOT WASTEFUL!

That is ALL there is to it.

So cool off rambo, be you old caterpillar self, and "walk correctly" again.

QUESTION: I know different animals have their different "perception of reality"...like fly and human also see the world differently.But does we really perceive OUR reality? do we really see a BALL?
Sometime I went to MacDonald and eat Hamburger, I will wonder, did it really look so nice? why am it so tasty? There seem to be no way to explain the "why it tasty", I will also wonder did the burger look like how I perceive it?
-If I see the ball static, did I really SEE the ball been static?
-If I see the ball move, did I really SEE the ball roll?
I hope my eye can perceive the reality in my vision, instead just image form in my brain, if I don't perceive the reality, then my vision is useless.


-Do human see the world with their eyes? Does our vision come from our eye?
-If I see a ball roll....am I really SEE the ball rolling across me? or it is just a misconception, like how ball roll pass the LCD screen?
-Do human sense really perceive reality? Do you think there is a ball in the reality?
-Do you think we are able to perceive the world as what it seem to be...by our senses?
I know we cannot see all...but at least the "world" we perceive to be, is the reality? for e.g. Like Is the Ball really round in the reality?
-Does sound exist? Even if nobody is hearing it?
-Outside a room, is there a world? even though I do not see it? Even if I see it? Is it how the world "look like"?

-Do I still see with my eye? does my eye bring us what we see? Do human have the at least the "correct" perception of the world?

Hi Rambo!
I think i said all there is to be said on this topic!

What is to be gained by repeating a question 10 times?

"Perception" is only as correct as required for survival.

Like it or not, nature does not ask our permission in deciding what is good for us, and what is not.

So if you only see VIBGYOR color spectrum and hear 20 to 20,000 Hertz, that is it! And no arguments!! (against nature i mean).

Rambo i will positively not answer any more questions along this line as it is dead horse now. :)

Catch some other expert and see for a change what he says too.
