Subject: 1989 Porsche 944s2 dash warning lights

Question
How do you turn off the center top warning light in the dash, WITHOUT the porsche handheld computer reset tool?(Porsche tool #9480 I believe?) THANX-CATSMITH

Answer
If you mean the the red exclamation light, usually there is another
light on, such as an air bag, brake other other. When you address that second light issue, if you have one, the central light should go out.
However for tools, here is another option that might be valuable:
