Porsche Repair - starting stored 911?

Expert: Brad MCClure - 8/24/2008

Question
Should I start my 2002 9114s after 14 months of storage? Or have it towed
to dealer and checked out?

Answer
It will be fine.

Charge the battery overnight or replace the battery if it is dead.

Fire it up. Listen for anythin unusual.

Schedule to have a service performed.
Yearly service
Brake Fluid flush
Check the belt(main)

I recommend a good independent Porsche shop if there is one near you.

R/Brad
