Expert: Carie Eichel Date: 7/1/2008 Subject: Am I pregnant?
Question my period came on the 12th of June and ended on the 17th. There can be a possibility I ovulated on the 22nd going into the 23rd because i felt dull cramps and had thin stretchy discharge forming. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the 23rd at about 5 PM. and again at 2 AM. going into the 24th he ejaculated inside me both times. I still get some dull like abdominal pain and my period is not due until the 6th of July.It is now the 29th of June and after i use the bathroom and wipe myself there is a lot of milky discharge odorless and when i put some of it on my fingers it stretches and it's thick it's sort of like lotion when i put it on my fingers i don't know it's hard to explain but i never had this before. can i be pregnant? and should i take a first response test 5 days before I'm due or take a test when I'm at least a week late?
Answer Hi Kee,
Has anything happened since you made this post? Are you trying to get pregnant? just wondering. What I usually hear recommended is that you take a test a few days after you miss your period. Then if you get a negative, you can try again in another week. I would also recommend that you talk to your doctor about this. You can get a free pregnancy test by finding a center near you. Go to http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. If you are not in the U.S. then go to this website http://www.heartbeatinternational.org/worldwide_directory.asp
Hope this helps and I would like you to email me at Carieichel@aol.com and tell me what happens.
