Could I be Pregnant?!/Preg Tests

Question
I recently have taken a handful of tests. My first test came out a bit weird. The control box had a line but the other box turned entirely sky blue and I couldn't determine a line due to that. I decided to set it aside to show my mom the next day and never bothered to look at it for the rest of the night. The next morning, there was a line in both boxes! So I took 4 more during that week and 3 of 4 came out negative while the 4th test had a faint blue colored line(I might have messed up by excessively drinkign too much water which could've diluted my test results). I have had experiencing weird symptoms as well. I have had about a week of cramping in my tummy area. The first day of no cramps I received several tingly sensations in the tummy region throughout that day. I have periodic itchiness on my nipples. I also haven't had a period for the last 4-5 months but I also stopped taking my patch birth control 4-5 months ago. I tend to get lower back aches when on my feet for long periods as well. I was told my my mom and aunt to get a blood test. What do you think about my test results and symptoms? Could I be pregnant or is it most likely false test results? Is it normal to have a test color the entire box blue when the control box has a blue line? Will a blood test be more accurate?

Answer
Nicole, I haven't heard of what you are describing in the test. It sounds like you could take a blood test or you could go to a pregnancy resource center and have them give you a FREE test there. Then you could also get some advice there and see what they think. To find a center, go to http://www.optionline.org or http://www.heartbeatservices.org and click on the worldwide directory.

Missing your period for that long could be a result of the birth control patch. It could be the hormones still lingering. Or, you could possibly be pregnant. It sounds like you could have symptoms of pregnancy. So go get a test at a center and then let me know what happens.
