AboutKeith Libby Expertise I am 36 years old and I have had 20 yrs of knowledge of Elvis Presley. I was 7 when I first heard of Elvis the day he died to be exact didn't know about the man they called the King of Rock-n-Roll heard Kentucky Rain on the car radio and my father got me my first Elvis magazine (which I have to this day!)and I was hooked! I wanted to be like him look like him and everything that was Elvis. I even was an Elvis impersonator for a while. I did get to meet LisaMarie here in Maine when she was touring with Chris Isaak on her first album. I've been to Graceland and I'm going back someday! So I know pretty much everything there is to know about Elvis. His life, his music and especially the man we call the King of Rock-n-Roll. So I would love to answer any questions about Elvis and for the ones' who are just finding out about him just like I did back in'77.

Question i am 13 and i went to mimphis tennsee. about 4 weekends ago and i went Elvis house and now im hooked i belive that he is still alive do you think he is alive will you tell me why i love Elvis and i want to learn more about him if you could help me i think you caues when i get older and get in to collage for a detcive i want to open back up the Elvis files and find the answer to everyones question

Answer Hi Nicole, Well personaly I think that Elvis isn't alive. Two reasons'One is that towards' the end of Elvis' life he had alot of health problems' and the reason he was taking so many prescribed medications' was for all the issues that had plagued him through out his life he allways' had a hard time sleeping, when he was a teenager right around your age he would sleep walk. So he would have problems getting to sleep. And for the concert years' he had a gruling schedule. He had so many problems' theres' alot to be listed. And two, I don't think that he wouldn't have done that to his fans'he lived to entertain people and he loved being on stage and performing. So I think that with all the admiration that all his fans' gave him I just don't think that he would just up and leave, and not perform any more. I wish that he would've taken a long break from touring then he could've gotten back into shape lost some weight and he would've felt alot better thats' my personable thought. And for the reason that you got hooked after visiting Graceland well thats' soomething that alot of us Elvis fans' can't explain. From his music to his looks, how can anyone say that he wasn't the best looking man, even from a man's point of view. That says alot for someone. And just the way that he was so generous giving to charities,his voice all that Elvis ever did was something that was never done. And he dared to Rock!! And the rest is history.
