Question hey im michael aged 18 im currently doing a hair dressing caurse about the styles of hair in the 1950's iand i would love to no what kind of stuff was used for men in that era beacause i emajen ther was no hair jell or stranters!!! and a part from brill creem i don.t really have anything to work with so anything would be much help thank you so much mike xxx
Answer Hi Michael,
This is what Elvis Presley used on his hair in the 1950's.
He used Rose oil hair tonic for the top, Butch Wax for the front and Vaseline for the sides and he used L'Oreal Excellence blue black or Lady Clairol blue black for hair dye.
