A few years ago I heard a record that I believe was titled :The King Of Country Music" and was recorded by a female artist.  Some of the lyrics that I can recall.....
"The battered bus pull into one more nameless town
seems like only minutes since he laid his body down".....
"Another town behind hi and he's on the road and then
He's the King of Country Music once again.".......
I would appreciate any help in finding the lyrics to the song....Thank you

I'm afraid that I can't be of much help to you on this one. I can come up with a couple more lines of the song, but that's it.....
