Question
Do you know how many and what medication was found in Elvis's system when he died? Thanks.

Answer
Hi Gail,

Thanks for your question. Elvis had 14 drugs in his system, 10 of which were said to be significant in quantity. The list is below.

Morphine, Demerol(pain killers)
Chloropheniramine(antihistamine)
Placidyl, Valium
Codeine(opiate)
Ethinamate(sleeping pill)
Quaaludes(barbituate)
Avental
Valmid
Diazepam
Nembutal
Elavil
Carbrital

Its probably important to note that Elvis's dentist prescribed him Codeine the night before his death when he got a temporary crown.

Thanks for your question, if I can help with anything else please feel free to ask.

Sincerely,
E

Presley, Elvis
