I always thought Elvis was to come to Htfd Aug 17, for we were supposed to go and we were devistated the day he died that we werent going to his concert the next day, it was like we needed affirmation/confirmation the concert was cancelled! I was 5 then so maybe its those child memories not right... and I guess I will have to check those tickets, my mom still has them. She and my dad were fortunate to see him once and they were going to take me and my siblings to see him and I will never forget the feelings I had knowing it wasnt going to be. Still hurts when thinking about it and seeing his last performance videos which I thought were a few days before we were suppose to see him, boy, now I got that totally wrong!!!!!! That was in June! Hope my writing this adds some history to the person who asked the first question!

I'm at a Ruby Tuesday with a poster of an Elvis concert scheduled for August 12 1977 with JD Sumner and the Stamps. 8:00 pm Hartford Conn. Is this legit?

My grandmother has 2 intact tickets for his September show in Huntington WV. She was refunded her money and was told to keep the tickets as a keepsake.

I personally own a Ticket to his September 26th, 1977 show scheduled at the Hulman Civic University Center, Indiana State University. I was originally offered my cost back, but after all that has happened that year, I decided they are much, much more valuable to me.

My Grandmother bought a ticket for the September 16 concert at the Hulman civic Center in Terre Haute and was offered her money back but kept her intact ticket. When she passed away my grandfather passed it down to me. The guy from Ticket Master 10 years ago offered me 1000 dollars for it. (Almost took it). The ticket has always been in a hard plastic protective cover. So I know the concert venue was real just never happend.
