Question
We are first time cruisers and want to take a freestyle cruise in June 2010. However Norwegian doesn't have a cruise for that month. Does any other cruise lines offer freestyle cruising??

Answer
Hi Cynthia,
You didn't mention what type of cruise you're looking to take. Norwegian does have some cruises that sail in June 2010, but maybe not the kind you're looking for. Are you looking for a 7 night Caribbean cruise? The closest they have looks like a 7 night out of Boston to Bermuda, & another out of NY to Bermuda. There is a 7 night Bahamas cruise out of NY also, along with a 3 night and a 4 night out of NY too.

The concept of freestyle cruising typically means that you're able to have dinner whenever you want to within a certain time frame. Norwegian has this and they call it "freestyle". Princess also has this and they call it "personal choice dining". Royal Caribbean has "my time dining".

I'll give you some good cruise websites in case you'd want to do some more research and if you have any more questions that I could possibly answer, feel free to write me back again also.

http://www.cruisecritic.com/ (These 3 sites are similar and free to use, but Cruise Critic was the first and is the buisiest...you can also go on the message boards and talk to people on there if you have questions about anything or everything cruise related...you can also talk to people who have been on the same ship you've booked and even talk to people who will be on your same sailing too.)

I love cruising! I've been on Royal Caribbean the most, and I've also been on NCL, Princess, and Carnival. I'm most familiar with Caribbean sailings. Feel free to ask me any questions though. If I don't know the answer, I will try to find it, and if I can't, I'll direct you to some good cruise sites where you can find the info that you're looking for.
