---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: We have used the spares that are kept in the cover. We are looking to purchase additional replacement covers. I do know you can get them in a user maintenance kit, but that is knd of overkill. I was wondering if you ever ran across a supplier who just carries the lens covers.

Thansk,
kp

Answer
HI THE CLOSET I CAN COME TO FOR A PART NUMBER IS C6090-60108 LENS COVER ASSEMBLY.  THERE WAS NO PIC BUT I THING THIS IS THE LITTLE LENS THAT SLIDES INTO THE EDGE DETECT SENSOR ASSEMBLY.  I TRIED LOOKING IT UP ON HP PART SURFER AND IT SAID NO PART FOUND.  BEST THING TO DO IS CALL HP PARTS AND SEE IF THEY CAN COME UP WITH SOMETHING 800-227-8164.

HOPE THIS HELPS SORRY FOR THE CAPS AND GOODLUCK :)

SIMMIE
