Question
QUESTION: Needing multiple color copies on 8.5x8.5 paper loaded in Tray 2.  After first page, printing stopped with message “Unexpected Size in Tray 2, Load Letter.”

Went to Menu: Paper Setup, Tray 2, Paper Size.  Selected “Any Size” and “Custom” but both triggered same message as above, refused multiple-copy printing.

How to select Tray 2 paper size to feed 8.5x8.5 stock?

ANSWER: HI IS THE SOFTWARE YOU ARE USING SET TO PRINT THAT SIZE?  PLEASE CHECK AND LET ME KNOW. SRY FOR THE CAPS.

QUESTION: Thanks for response.  To answer your question:  Document is on a new eMac, OS X 10.5.4, in QuarkXPress 6.1.  Print setup on Mac is for 8.5x8.5, and it prints that stock perfectly.  The current situation is a need for many copies, and CM1015 will not run (copy) stock of that size, although, as previously said, I've gone to printer controls: Paper Setup, Tray 2, Paper Size; selected "Any Size" and "Custom," but still get message "unexpected Size in Tray 2, Load Letter."  My need appears to be how to set the 1015 printer for copying, not printing from computer.  Further advice??

Answer
hi the best thing to do is to check out the following link, if you cant get what yuor lookling for there you can try to call hp support directly.  though im a authorized repair tech from hp im authorized on select models and this particular printer im not familiar with it or its functions.  if i had it in person i might beable to do something but thats not a possibility.
