Question Hi there, I have a HP Photosmart C4100 All in One, the other day I wanted to make a photocopy,i switched it on but the onscreen message said I should remove and check the colour cartridge, I did so but it seemed to be fine,I checked the black one as well and the same, all seems to be fine, but I can not even print out the self test as none of the buttons seem to be functioning, i press help button, cancel button but no result, the same message saying i should check the colour cartridge remains. Could you please help me?
Thank you
Answer Hi Ann,
There is an issue with some HP cartridges, please see:

It is a normal behavior on printers to stop working until a failure condition detected is cleared on any color. If your cartridges are not within those with problems, I would suggest trying with brand new cartridges. If the problem is solved, take those replaced to the manufacturer for a replacement.
