Question
Dear Sir,

I have 2 new HP LaserJet 1020 installing in Windows 2000 but its working is not properly.
The problem is the following :

1. When I give printing to the concerned printer, it halts the windows 2000 and stop all the processes. But some time, it is working properly whole the day. What's reason, I don't know.

Please guide/suggest me in this regards.

Sir, your early response will be a great favour for me.

Regards,

Myrtle

Answer
The problem would either be the driver or the communication between the printers and the computers being used. Be sure the printers have the proper cables usually IEEE compliant. If they are USB then you will need to check to see if there is a conflict with the USB prots.
Drivers check to see if there is an upgraded driver. If there is none contact the printer manufacturer with this problem so they can supply you with a ptach file to fix the problem.
