Question
I can print a test page with no problem, but I get the above answer when I start to print anything.  It's a Lexmark Printer.  I removed it, and reinstalled it, and still it won't print.
Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
Hello Anne,
Usually a cable is not hooked up or the printer port is not enabled.
You did not mention if the printer uses a USB port.

1)If it uses a USB port it should auto detect the port.
If this is the case you will need to download a new driver from the Lexmark site that matches your operating system and install it.

2)If it is a parallel port you may need to change pherperials in the bios. When making changes to a bios you should have some one that is knowledgable to do this function. Each bios for the various motherboards are different so instructions to do so is difficult to do.
