Question Hi,
I own a Compaq IJ 650 printer, and it recently started printing blank pages. I changed the ink, but it still goes through the motions - and pages are blank.
Any help would be appreciated.

Answer Print heads need replacement. The Canon and Epson printers use a Peizo print head. These print heads have two micro screens the ink passes through. Over time this ink left on the screens dries up and plugs the ink from flowing through. In most cases it burns the print head out. In the future I would recommend the purchase of HP printers they have the print head on the cartridge and there is no cost associated with replacement. It is replaced each time you purchase a cartridge and the cost is equivalent to that of the Canon or Epson cartridges that do not come with new print heads. The price of print heads for the Epson or Canon are high around $125.00 plus installation.
