Printers/Best Printer for Printing Photographs

We were hunting for waterproof ink and I saw a post saying that Canon inks were waterproof, depending on the paper they were printed on. We tried a drop of water on one we had printed on two sided semi-gloss photo paper, let it soak and then smeared it with a towel and WOW! The photo paper sort of rose a bit where it had been soaked but the ink stayed fast. The paper was a little "warped" when it dried but the printing was fine. Hope this helps
