Question I have a HP psc 1315 and when I print color on a mate paper, after 2 or 3 inches of printing, the colors change and loose their real brightness as if there would not be enough ink but the printer doesen't show to change cartriges or similar.
Thanks,
Daniela
Answer The cartridge is starving ink. In otherwords the ink flows to the bottom of the cartridge through the sponges to slowly to get an even supply of ink to the jets. This occurs when the sponge has dry spots and restricts smooth flow of ink. This can be caused by long shelf life or refilling to late.
