Question HP PHOTOSMART 7150
I have refilled with ink my cartridges and the computer keeps saying that I am almost out of ink what is going on? Thanks. Suzanne
Answer The HPs do not have a chip they have a counter on the motherboard. The cartridge will still work but the ink level indicator will show low ink. The ink indicator is a guesstimate at best. If this does stop you from printing try this below:
While printer is on unplug the printer from wall
After 70 seconds plug it back in (this removes the count) and re install the cartridge like it is a new one.
