Printing, Bookbinding & Paper making - Permanent Marker

Expert: Tim Holcomb - 9/29/2000

Question
I just recently "markered up" a pair of my old jeans for a class project.  I really like them, but I don`t think the permanent marker will stay on them if I wash them.  Do you know of anything i could do to prevent them from fading, or bleeding?
I`m not sure if I`m asking the right person, but if I`m not, could you maybe direct me in the right direction?
I greatly appreciate your time and I hope you understand my message.
Anne
