Private Investigations and Personal Security/Legal Investigators

Are the requirements of becoming a PI the same as becoming a Legal investigator or do you have to have a whole new liscence to be a Legal Investigator? Also, i have read that a PI does not carry a badge nor does a legal investigator, is that true?

In most States if you work as a Legal Investigator for a specific law firm, there are no requirements for licensing, etc., as they may impose for Private Investigators.  However, carrying badges and other issues are determined on a State-by-State basis.....  You need to see what requirements are in your State.

Good luck.
