Question
If Tiger wins $10 million on tour this year, would his caddy most likely earn a million?

What do you think a regular PGA caddy makes a year?

Answer
Dear Larry, thanks for the question.  In all likelihood his caddy (Steve Williams) would indeed make a million dollars based on the normal 10% of earnings.  Over the years it has become well known that caddies do earn approximately 10% of their players earnings with a bonus for top 10 finishes and WINS.  My guess would be that Mr. Williams will earn well over a million this year.  Also, caddies usually have an agreement in place to cover expenses in the event that their pro misses the cut...it does happen of course, and the caddies still have to eat too.  Good luck and remember...

Love the game,
skipper
