Pro Wrestling/Posion Mist

Question
Hi,
What's up?
A Q,how do you prepare the posion mist, kind of like The Great Muta used to spit? Also, how do you conceal it until it's time to use it? I have a match in a few weeks and wanted to use it there, so I was wondering.
Thanks!
Thanks.

Answer
Hello Lyder,

Ah, thanks for this interesting question. Breaks the repetition of "how to become a wrestler" and "wrestling school" questions.

By the way, the Great Muta still uses the poison mist.

Poison mist is quite simple- water and food colouring, or else powdered drink mix. Different colours are the result of different food colours. The mixture is placed in a small bag, balloon or capsule. Black mist is thicker.

When it is time to use the mist, depending on which method is used, the wrestler either puts the contents of the bag, balloon or capsule into their mouth and then spits or placing the small bag, balloon or capsule into the mouth and keeps it there for some time before biting and spitting. The second method is not advised unless you have practiced. The second method is better when it is harder to conceal and one doesn't want it to be too obvious. A third method is to keep the container inside the mouth for the whole match- but that is ill-advised for both health and safety reasons as well as the fact it would limit facial expressions and anything involving opening of the mouth. With both the second and third methods, the container is placed under the tongue and when one spits, one must ensure that the container doesn't get in the way, or worse still, gets spat out.

To conceal it there are a few options. One, placing it in one's trunks (or if wearing more clothes placing it somewhere in a pocket or flap where it is secure). Another is to place it under the ring or elsewhere and then retrieve it. during the course of the match. This would work best in hardcore matches and similar matches. One can also give the container to the referee who will give it to the wrestler when the time comes (in as discreet a way as possible, naturally.)

There are a number of varieties of posiion mist and I whilst you didn't ask this, I feel I should provide this information just in case you do't already know. The type of mist affects how one should react to it. All effects are kayfabe. All mists are directed towards the eyes:

Green mist has a blinding and discomforting effect
Red mist has a burning effect
Black mist has a powerful blinding effect
Blue mist has a soporific effect (sends the opponent to sleep)
Yellow mist has a paralysing effect.

Good luck in your future endeavors.

I can answer many things about professional wrestling and what I don't know I can usually track down or else account for. Promotions, wrestlers if they arem't too obscure, wrestling schools, finishers, wrestling history, title histories, etc... I can track down where you can find wrestling videos too, but I will not help anyone infringe copyright. I specialise in professional wrestling schools as well as promotion, both the creative side and most elements of the busineess side. I can track down information about most promotions. I am always expanding my knowledge of pro wrestling and will consider every question seriously.

Experience

I've been a fan of professional wrestling since 2001. Thanks to my work here, I have gained experience on the creative side of things, particularly in the answers to the questions from various independent wrestlers and promotions. I've helped to develop gimmicks and costumes, name wrestlers and their moves, devise finishing moves as well as help out with theme music and occasionally entrances. I am currently inactive at Bleacher Report, but may resume writing tehre in the future. My 'Raisha Saeed Needs to Take Off Her Clothes' article appeared on Cheerleader Melissa's Twitter and played a role in the development of Alissa Flash, a true honour. I am a regular columnist and contributor for The Wrestling Daily, as part of a select group. The Wrestling Daily is a new and rising site with a stellar cast of writers and covers wrestling from around the world. You can visit the site at http://thewrestlingdaily.com/. My pro wrestling writing, due to time constraints, is currently restricted to what I write there right now. You can read my column, the Wide World of Wrestling, there, as well as other pieces from myself and the other writers.

Deadly Wrestling Alliance, plus some promotion featuring a lot of supernatural characters. They never told me their name. A number of independent wrestlers and promoters.
