AboutDave Wolf Expertise Hi everyone. I am 32 years old, and have been a wrestling fan ever since I can remember. My earliest memories of pro wrestling come from the old AWA back in the early 1980's. At the time, the AWA was the only wrestling I got on TV, but that soon expanded to the WWF(WWE)and NWA(WCW), and even World Class Championship Wrestling for a while.
I feel I have a good knowledge of wrestling and can help you out with pretty much any question you have. If I don't know the answer off hand, I am not afraid to do a little research, whether it be through the internet, or from other various personal resources I have. I am proud of the fact that I am rapidly approaching 1000 questions answered, which is the most in the pro wrestling category.
So if you have a question about something, feel free to ask. However, due the number of questions I've answered regarding this subject, I am asking that you please refrain from asking questions regarding pro wrestling schools and how to get into pro wrestling. It's a good question, but it does get a little old answering the same question over and over again. As an alternative to asking this question, please see my previous answers.
I check my email pretty much everyday, so most of my questions are answered within 24 hours, if not much earlier.
Experience I don't have any first hand experience in the world of pro wrestling, but I have been a fan for as long as I can remember, and spend a lot of time reading up on the subject, whether it be from magazines, books, dirt sheets, or websites.

Answer Hi Nuno. Thanks for the question.
You're only 17, so you're still young. There's a lot of wrestlers that didn't get involved in the business until they were much older.
It's great that you seem dedicated to bodybuilding and weightlifting, but you don't have to over do it. Pro wrestling isn't a competition to see who the strongest guy is or who has the best body. Sure, being in shape has something to do with it. However, you could have the best body and be able to lift the most, but if you can't wrestle a lick, it won't matter. Take, for instance, the current World Champion C.M. Punk. He's not going to win any weightlifting or bodybuilding competition. He gets by on his wrestling ability and charisma. Same thing with the former champ, Edge.
Being in Portugual isn't going to help your cause any. The chances of making it with WWE aren't that good anyway, but living overseas even decreases those odds. I would suggest moving to the U.S. and going to a wrestling school, as there are several throughout the country. If you make through a wrestling school (I say if because a lot more don't make it than actually do), you would most likely work on the independent scene, and then hope that someone with ties to WWE notices you and offers you a tryout.
Thanks again for the question. Let me know if you have anything else.
