Question
30 out of 100 boys and 36 out of 100 girls knows the answer to the question that their teacher asked. What is the probability that a student chosen at random knows the answer?

Answer
How many students are there ? 200 ?
And is the number of boys and girls the same?

Assume so.

Then out of 200 students, how many people know the answer : 66.

So, the chance is 66/ 200!

Now tell me,
if the student answered the question, what is the chance that the student was a boy?
what is the chance that the student was a girl?
