Question
I am trying to determine a way to find the various combinations that would lead to a sum of 1 for a staffing model.  I have 3 categories of cases, and am trying to determine, different combinations that an individual could take on as a workload.  For example, if category 1 has a rating of .03, category 2 has a rating of .07, and category 3 has a rating of .10, is there a statistical equation to show various combinations of the 3 categories to equal to 1?

Answer
Could u possibly explain it in details (such as more examples, formula)? I do not understand your question well.
