Question
these are really basic questions for the praxis test. thank you.
How do I find out what fractions are not equivilant to the others; 2/3,5/15,
4/6,8/12, 18/27

Answer
if you want to know if any two factions a/b and c/d are equivalent,

you can check if a*d = b*c are same,
( this is like multiplying both sides by b*d ...)
if they are, then the fractions are same.

it also tells you which is greater.

Another way is to simplify fractions, e.g. if we see 4 / 6, this is 4 out of 6, which is same as 2 out of 3.
In general, if you can divide numerator and denominator by something, pls do immediately.
This makes the list
2/3,5/15, 4/6,8/12, 18/27

2/3, 1/3, 2/3, 2/3, 2/3...
so you can see they are the same except for 5/15!
