QUESTION:  what should i say to the psychologist? its not a feeling that remains with me every second of the 365 days an year. it keeps on returning, and that is what bothers me. my grandmother had clinical depression, and my aunt has it too. am i doomed? i dont need a wizard but i dont need a psychologist either. u can help me.

Answer
Hi,
Start off with the psychologist mentioning to them what you said to me above. They should know what to do to help. I cannot say that you have depression or will get depression, however if depression runs in the genes, we must look at this and find out how to prevent this from becoming a major issue. The psychologist can use his or her ideas proven in psychology to help relieve an issue before it becomes a major issue. Writing is sometimes a way to remove stress. But, writing can also cause stress, so one must be able to have a middle person to use to help use writing correctly to handle such an issue. The psychologist would be the middle person.

I can try to help you more, but I'm not a psychologist. Can I ask your hobbies?

Depression has a lot to do with nurture and some to do with nature.
