AboutSteve Expertise Expert knowledge in AOL versions 5.0, 6.0, and currently using 7.0, 9.0, if there is a problem within any area i can usually come up with a fix or know where to get it.
Experience Have been an AOL member for almost 10 years and have suffered thru some of the problems that come up daily.

Question I cannot log onto aol9.1. after going thru "fix it for me" it says "main idx.databasefile is damaged. Insert AOL CD." I dont have an AOL CD and after calling Office Depot, FedEx Kinkos, Brandsmart and Circuit City who do not have them - i dont know what to do. Cant I somehow do this thru internet explorer? Help please.

AOL in versions higher then 7.0 are a real problem. If you still want to try using 9.1 here is what to do. First online search "download" 9.1 Once you find it, put into a temp flder DO NOT INSTALL...Delete the version you have, clear cache and all temp files. Then install the version you got online.
