Question Hi, I'm not sure if this could be AOL or not, but I have a brand-new computer and it will reboot at different times while online. It never does it offline. Computer guy has replaced modem three times just to be sure. Says it does not do this at his shop. At home here, we even ran new phone lines but while online, computer shuts down like I'm rebooting. So it's not like I get a disconnection and AOL says goodbye, it shuts down with no warning. Do you have any suggestions? We've already replaced phone lines too. I use a dial-up connection.

From what you have told me i do not believe it is the computer. I would take it bakc to where it was purchased and heave them check for a possible virus, or memory could be bad (happens even on new computers), You seemed to have had everything changed relevant to being online but it may be more of a computer related problem.
