Question Hello Steve. my father has recently bought a new computer (5 days ago)but for the last 4 months he has been using my old computer and accessing AOL using his username and password as a guest on that machine. he has since loaded AOL 9 using a disk he kept from his initial AOL subscription onto his new computer and it will not accept his password or username, i have since spent over 80 mins trying to explain this to someone on the other side of the world only to be simply cut off in the middle of yet more music they wanted to send him a patch which beggars belief as the whole point of the enquiry was that he cannot access the Internet in the first place, in any event i have found your page on the web and would appreciate any help you can give. for information the OS is windows vista he has loaded AOL 9 and uses a bt voyager 190 modem. thank you very much for your time i am sure you must be very busy.

AOL 9 has been more problems then it is worth...let me ask you, when your dad loaded it, did he set up for a current acct holder or new acct???? Please check because if he set for a new acct, his screen name and password will not work, if that is not the probelm, i am not sure because lately figuring out AOL 9 problems have been lose to impossible..GOOD LUCK,
