Hi, thanks for your time! I was just wondering about a problem I'm having with AIM, well I'm trying to download AIM 6.1, but whenever I go to the website and click in "install now!", it installs, but it keeps reinstalling 6 instead of 6.1. Is it because I only have windows professional 2000? Do i need XP?

Try this. Clear the cache, clear temp files and history, re-boot. Then try again. Let me know if this helps. What is your version of internet explorer? Here are the minimum standards for 6.1:

Q: What are the system requirements for AIM 6.1?
A: AIM 6.1 runs on Windows® Vista, Windows XP or Windows 2000. You need at least 128MB of RAM and Internet Explorer® 6.1 or later.
