Problems using AOL - AOL on second computer

Expert: Steve - 6/18/2007

Question
QUESTION: Hi Steve. I'm using AOL 9 with 1 Meg broadband and would like to use my other computer on the Internet, from this location and possibly my friend's home.

I'm sure this won't be a straightforward operation and will be most grateful for any guidance as I'm a relative newbie.

Regards,
Bertie.

ANSWER: Hi Bertie,
You should be able to go to the second computer with the same log ons, and be connected as long as you are using broadband connection. Let me know more info, if i am missing something.

QUESTION: Thanks a lot, Steve - one last question and I won't bother you any more on this subject - HOW do I do it!! (Like I said, I am a newbie).

Answer
hi,
if the second computer is on the same connection, just install AOL, as a current user. Then it will recognize it as the same as the first computer. If the computer is somewhere else, you can go on as a guest. Also, if you do not want to download AOL again, just go to www.aol.com and you can log on without installing anything. Please let me know if this helps and works!!
