AboutSteve Expertise Expert knowledge in AOL versions 5.0, 6.0, and currently using 7.0, 9.0, if there is a problem within any area i can usually come up with a fix or know where to get it.
Experience Have been an AOL member for almost 10 years and have suffered thru some of the problems that come up daily.
Education/Credentials Bachelor of Science in Business Admin with a minor in Accounting
We have a Gateway on which we have Windows XP which runs with no problems
It overtakes our system, slows it down, often freezes and refuses to close.
When we get it to clos via ALT DEL it keeps on coming back forcing us to shut down and restart.
It's hijacking our computer over and over.
Would removing AOL and reinstalling it be the fix?

only thing i can suggest. delete the temp files, clear cache, clear history, then uninstall, re-boot then re-install. Truthfully, i do not recommend AOL anymore as it causes major problems on 40% of the computers out there. Let me know how it goes and if i can do anyhting else
