Problems using AOL/AOL Calendar

I have AOL 9 and it doesn't work either. Have to add the same entry 4-5 times before it saves. Hopefully it will still be there tomorrow!

AOL tech admitted today that they have server issues and are working to find a fix. Mine started with "reminders" not functioning.... after a "fix" by their tech I was unable access my calendar without passing another sign in screen.
They are also having minor email issues with the recording of the number of spam messages not working...
I have been a paying customer since 1998 and have never liked dealing with them... at first they were arrogant and since their fall just incompetent... try GOOGLE calendar

I have 9.5 and been on the phone with techies at AOL for two days about calendar not working. They say it is the server and will be up anytime now. I have lost all my entries, and valuable time on this issue. I am considering seeking recourse with other AOL members. This is more than an inconvenience - it is causing me to be unable to schedule appointments as I am self-employed. This has been going on for nearly a month. AOL needs to compensate members for this mess.

I agree. Self-employed here, too. This only began when they changed the format a few months ago. I've spoken with many of their techs, and they don't have a clue. My solution: I'm dropping AOL and using the Google calendar. AOL is so awful in so many ways--browser is slow and unreliable. It's sad that they are so behind everyone else. I've used them practically from their start, but it's time to move on. I suggest you do the same. Take care!

It is now November and apparently AOL still cant fix the calendar problem. I can barely add an event without an error message. I write to AOL and nothing...This is really outlandish and arrogant. I have been a customer for 13 years and I am fed up. Their indifference to their customers is driving us away.

We use aol calendar on all of our computers. We have about 10 computers with different brands, models and operating systems. Same problems as above. Some new. Some older. It has gotten to the point where it is loading so slowly on all computers that we are going to have to switch to gmail or another one of our services. Have used aol for over 15 years. We are very disappointed with aol.

My calendar with the 9.6 software has been working fine for the last couple of weeks. I had been experiencing the same problems noted by others. However, now I get no calendar reminders, which I guess I can live with. Now if I only could figure out why the spell checker will no longer 'learn' a word...

Ya Know -- AOL--- Time Warner... can't get much bigger than this. And they are so substandard and the calendar is a joke. I am self employed and I have lost time and money due to the ineptness of this BLUECHIP company. Another example of American companies that run themselves into the ground... who is benefiting from this so called cornerstone of American ingenuity and quality. ha

It's now Oct '13 and the AOL calendar is still useless.."server error" message constantly when you try to add an event that needs an email reminder.
