Problems using AOL/Can't connect to AOL

QUESTION: For eight days now, having lots of problems trying to access AOL. Have had telephone help, live help, and putting a new Walmart CD-ROM in. Nothing helps. After telephone help, I get in, but the next evening or the next morning, it's a trial.
Have done all that has been suggested. The system makes me close down several times before I can access.
Also, the AOL System Information does not work and asks me to tell Microsoft. I have left a message there.

ANSWER: Hi,
First do this. clear cache, clear temp files and history. Then Uninstall AOL.  Re boot the computer, Download AOL form online, make sure you say yes to existing account, not create a new account. follow thru and let me know if this works. Good luck

How would I ever be able to get online to download AOL if I Uninstall AOL? It's so difficult now, I can't imagine how this would work. I don't have Internet Explorer

Hi Carol,
Are you sure you do not have explorer?? It should be on your computer, if not, then try the CD one more time. If you can get online at all you can go to www.aol.com and search from there, please let me know what happens.
