QUESTION: Using Windows XP, AOL 8.?; and Internet Explorer.  No site will come up on IE, even with AOL not signed on.  I called my broadband service and they said AOL is blocking IE and that I needed to disable AOL to use IE.  My husband uses AOL. I use IE.  I don't want to disable and have to re-enable for him each use.  Help?

QUESTION: didn't work -

Answer
Hi,
I would now delete AOL completely (uninstall0, then see if explorer works, if it does then re-install AOL, (that is if you still want it, as i think it messes up too many computers), but when asked DO NOT MAKE THE AOL BROWSER (expolrer), the default. see how that goes and let me know.
