Question My son is 19 years old,he is interested in becoming an insurance adjuster,i would like to know what is his first step and the complete process, also the job opportunities,he lives in atlanta GA.
Answer Valerie, hello!
I have taught over 44,000 students and hold classes monthly in Savannah. His opportunity would depend on which company he employs with. He is most welcome to contact me and I will talk with him. He needs to go to the yellow pages and literally call all of the 25 adjusting firms in his area. They will tell him about their personal company's openings.
The Georgia law requires that he completes the 40 hour prelicensing school/program and pass the 100 question, multiple choice exam. You can contact the Georgia Insurance Department at 888-204-6204 or google them. You can also find answers at www.Sircon.com
