Question I am shopping for home insurance and all of the above came in at about the same rates and i can't decide. Any advice? Farmers and Amercan Family is through the company's agent. American Modern is through a broker.
Answer I would contact the department of insurance for your state, and see how this companies rate in your state for claims service, complaints, etc.. and let that be your guide. I would also suggest you contact www.scic.com, and get a referral for a Certified Insurance Counselor in your area, and allow him or her to review your coverage too, Best Wishes!
